ProFlame® PN5131S
ProFlame-PN5131S is based on speciall structured organic phosphorus component complex salt. It is designed for high performance flame retardant engineering plastics such as polyester (PET, PBT), nylon(PA6,PA66). This product is not subject to foreign enterprise patents.
PN5131S has the following benefits:
1. The products made with PN5131S can meet the highest smoke density grade HL3 in EN45545-2 standard.
2. The rechargeable products of new energy vehicles using PN5131S will not precipitate and hydrolyze in the salt spray test at 65°C and 95% humidity.
3. Some photovoltaic connectors are bright in color and need to be embedded with metal for molding. They need to have good fluidity and solve the problem of post shrinkage. The molding cycle takes 2 minutes, while the materials stay in the whole barrel for about 8 minutes.
The appearance of finished product with traditional phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant is affected by the gas, but the using of PN5131S can well meet the requirements.

Processing instruction:
1. Pre-drying the polyamide,the moisture content should be below 0.1 % (by wt.).
2. The optimum conditions for incorporating should be determined in each individual case. Care must be taken to ensure homogeneous dispersion of all components.
3. It is most suitable for equipment with weak shear force.
4. High-quality non-alkali fiberglass is preferred
